What are your goals as a realtor? “Enjoy every day, help people and create a win/win situations. “
Dream or past career? “I own an advertising agency, I am a motivational speaker, I run a boutique brokerage and teach a few courses at Roger Williams University. I am living my dream, getting to do everything I do enjoy doing.”
What are your hobbies? “Pilates, yoga, walking on the beach.”
Did/Do you have a mentor? “Throughout my life and career, I’ve had many. Mentors are essential for motivation, inspiration, and accountability.”
What are you reading? “No time at the moment – suggestions?”
Pets? “We have two dogs a Yorkie and a Jack Russell as well as two frogs (my daughter’s).”
Lunch with anyone? “My dad. He is 92 and has dementia – what I would give to have one more lunch with him and learn from him. All the times he was teaching me and I was not paying attention… What I would give. Plus, he loved Chinese food and would order one of everything off the appetizer menu – yum.”
Best advice ever received? “Stan Tannenbaum, a deceased college advertising professor: ‘Take The corporate job at Leo Burnett right out of college. You are an entrepreneur at heart, and this will teach you discipline, lessons college could never teach you, and open up a wide door of lifelong opportunities.’ Boy, was he right. We were living in Chicago and I was petrified to work for a big company. It was the best work experience of my life. I did not recognize it at the time, but it was, and it opened up huge doors and still does. Thanks, Stan!”
